In Turkey there is the House of the Virgin Mary. It is a small house where Mary stayed after Jesus's death. Her house was small and dark. We couldn't take any photos inside, but the silence inside is so heavy and intense that you don’t even think of taking a photo.
This wall is called the Wishing Wall. The wall is below the house which is on a hill. On this long wall, there are thousands of wishes and prayers from people all over the world. All of them are writing in hundreds of different languages. While I was there, I easily saw 50 beautiful human beings hang up a wish on the wall. Some of them were crying and others were smiling. People say that the wall is miraculous and make wishes come true...
I still remember the feeling of seeing the wall for the first time. Great memories.
Seems like one of those places you cant help but be moved by
Kind of jealous of Europe and the Mid/near east sometimes they have buildings and places with a history that goes back thousands of years. Places with their own history and stories are awesome places to visit.
